Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC) was established in 2005 to represent Malaysian and Australian companies and individuals who have business and commercial interests in Malaysia or Australia. It works closely with the Australian High Commission and Austrade as well as with Malaysian Trade and Investment agencies. MABC provides a forum and a meeting place for its members to network and explore business opportunities as well as business support services and liaison with relevant Malaysian and Australian government agencies.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Director at the MABC who will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Council, manage key relationships, lead business development initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulations and directives of the Executive Committee.

Qualifications

• Leadership, management, planning, communication and writing skills
• Experience in business chamber work or other relevant experience in a commercial or business environment
• Good business management skills including record keeping, accounting and reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and execute business development strategies
• Good human resource management or human resource development skills
