Your Mission
1. Data Extraction and Cleaning
- Utilize advanced techniques in data extraction and cleaning to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Work with large datasets from various sources within the company, including operational databases and external data sources.
2. Data Analysis and Visualization:
- Conduct in-depth analysis using historical, actual and projected/budget data via Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
- Develop visually appealing and insightful reports to present key findings to higher management.
3. Insights Generation:
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data findings and provide recommendations for improving operational efficiency and productivity.
4. Decision Support:
- Support senior management in making informed decisions by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Translate complex data analyses into clear and concise presentations to facilitate decision-making processes.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and visualization.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in data management and analysis workflows.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or related fields.
- Experience in data analytics, preferably in manufacturing, commodities, or agriculture sectors, is an advantage
- Strong command of data analysis tools (Excel, Power Pivot, Power BI, DAX)
- Basic understanding of Python or macros for exploratory analysis or automation is a plus.
- Experience working with ERP or plantation systems (e.g. SAP) is advantageous.
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving ability, and capacity to turn ambiguous problems into structured insights.
- Effective communicator with the ability to simplify complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative with a continuous improvement mindset.
