YOUR ROLE AS AN EXECUTIVE NETWORK PLANNING (Philippines Focus)
AirAsia is looking for a commercially-driven, analytically sharp, and market-savvy Executive, Network Planning (Philippines Focus) to lead the design, development, and optimisation of our route network to and from Philippines — one of our most strategic and fastest-growing markets.
This role plays a key part in shaping Philippines AirAsia’s growth strategy, balancing commercial opportunities with operational feasibility, and driving sustainable profitability.
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional of Filipino nationality with deep market knowledge, native fluency in Tagalog, and strong command of English. You should have a foundational understanding of the Philippines' aviation landscape, passenger trends, competition, and regulatory environment.
As an Executive, Network Planning (Philippines), you will support route evaluations, assist in monitoring route performance, contribute to schedule planning, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to help execute AirAsia’s network strategy. This is a hands-on role, requiring close collaboration with teams across Revenue Management, Scheduling, Regulatory, Government Relations, Airport Partnerships, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

As an Executive, Network Planning (Philippines), you will support route evaluations, assist in monitoring route performance, contribute to schedule planning, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to help execute AirAsia’s network strategy. This is a hands-on role, requiring close collaboration with teams across Revenue Management, Scheduling, Regulatory, Government Relations, Airport Partnerships, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
What You’ll Champion
- Support the identification and evaluation of potential new routes by assisting in data gathering and preliminary analysis on market demand, fare trends, competitor activity, and operating costs.
- Assist in the preparation of route performance reviews by collecting and organizing relevant data on route profitability, load factors, and revenue trends.
- Monitor changes in market dynamics such as competitor movements, airline schedules, tourism flows, and geopolitical events, and provide timely updates to the team.
- Prepare and assist in compiling presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for the management of Network Planning data and information collection, including the correct and timely dissemination of files such as the Group Route Rollout, Group Frequency Table and other ad-hoc requests from both internal and external stakeholders
- Must be a Filipino citizen to effectively engage with stakeholders, authorities, and partners across the Philippines.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in aviation related fields, engineering, statistics, economics, or other equivalent qualification
- Understanding of the Philippines aviation landscape and passenger travel patterns.
- Airline / Aviation experience: 2+ years
- Network Planning, Revenue Management, Commercial/Sales: 1+ years
- Management Consulting experience is desirable
- Knowledge of airline network planning, scheduling, revenue management, sales & distribution along with a sound knowledge of airline economic and financial theory
- Experience with network planning/scheduling software and airline data sources such as PaxIS/MIDT, OAG/Innovata, Infare and ARMS is a plus
- Experience with MS Office in particular Excel and PowerPoint along with database tool knowledge such as SQL, Big Query or Tableau is a plus.
