Executive, Production Engineering

Qualifications & requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in production engineering or a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of technical drawings, production flowcharting, and process improvement methodologies.
4. Familiarity with manufacturing jigs, assembly processes, and quality control is a plus.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.), and other production-related software.
6. Proven ability to lead projects and work independently with minimal supervision while driving results and improvements.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job scope & responsibilities:
1. Design and document detailed flowcharts to define production processes and timelines for new models.

2. Ensure that the flowcharts align with technical specifications, safety standards, and production requirements.

3. Check and verify technical drawings for new models to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.

4. Collaborate with design teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure that the working standards align with production capabilities.

5. Analyse and plan the carton arrangement for new models, ensuring safe packaging and efficient use of space during shipping.

6. Design and prepare jigs for the precise fitting of metal runners and label stickers.

7. Inspect product assembly samples in the drilling department to ensure compliance with technical standards and specifications.

8. Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and caution sheets for all production departments to ensure smooth operations and safety.

9. Continuously assess and propose process improvements across all departments, focusing on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.
