Your Mission
“Beyond Zero” Framework
- Support the implementation of the company’s “Beyond Zero” Framework across business units.
- Assist in tracking progress of strategic sustainability initiatives and KPIs.
- Help communicate strategic priorities and updates to internal stakeholders through presentations, briefings, training, and internal platforms.
Sustainability Reporting (SR)
- Enhance reporting templates and coordinate content collection from data owners.
- Review and enhance narrative to ensure alignment with Bursa Malaysia and global frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and ISSB.
- Support the development, rollout and communication of the Sustainability Reporting Framework and Guidelines.
Management and Board reporting
- Develop executive summaries, presentations, and talking points for senior leadership and board-level reporting.
- Ensure documentation and reporting processes comply with internal policies and external regulations.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communications
- Translate complex ESG data into clear, engaging, and impactful narratives for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with Group Communications to align sustainability messaging across channels (website, social media, investor relations, etc.)
- Monitor ESG trends and stakeholder expectations to inform proactive communication strategies.
- Coordinate responses for ESG assessments and ratings (e.g., CDP, SPOTT, FTSE, Sustainalytics) and assist in preparing responses/presentations for sustainability-related surveys and presentations for investors, customers and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and data accuracy and highlight inconsistencies.
Internal and external assurance
- Support responses and external verification by internal and third-party auditors.
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders to support and coordinate closure of any findings and gaps arising from assurance reports
Others
- Any other tasks as required and assigned by immediate supervisor or the Head, Climate Change and Reporting.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Communications, or related field.
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks and reporting standards is an advantage.
