FACILITY / MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Responsible new equipment, making electrical and mechanical connection and aligning equipment for productive use. Includes coordinating and instructing sub-contractors on the installation of machines and support equipment.
• Maintain manuals of PM and replacement parts. Maintain files and records in an orderly manner for future reference.
• Plan, implement, evaluate preventive maintenance programmed to ensure facility equipment (air conditioning, air compressor, passenger lift, electric hoist, firefighting system, water pump system, lightning protection system), Waste disposal, building maintenance are properly maintained, meet service quality and effectiveness.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of building facilities such as electrical installations, plumbing fixtures, and building services.
• Maintain all LV and HT (up to 33kV) electrical installations in good condition and complied to statutory requirement of Energy Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia).
• Perform daily and weekly inspection of facility to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform periodic maintenance and routine calibration of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain sufficient machine spare parts to support production run and communicate with China counter parts for Parts Purchase.
• Maintain accurate record of maintenance request and present to upper management reports of daily activities.
• Manages maintenance personnel by setting direction and priorities.
• Standby breakdown & emergency call.
• To perform any relevant additional task from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree in any Engineering discipline.
• More than 10 years working experience in similar field.
• Hands on knowledge and experience in pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principles and technologies.
• Fundamental working knowledge in statistical and analytical applications such as 8D, DOE, FMEA and relevant quality tools.
• Possess strong technical acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective analytical problem-solving skills.
• A resourceful person with excellent drive, initiative and the ability to work under tight schedule.
• Good communication and computer skills.
• Must be a team player, committed and result oriented.
