F&B Assistant (Waiter / Waitress)

Job Description:

We are urgently seeking a motivated and professional F&B Assistant to join our team at Beach Republic. The F&B Assistant will be responsible for supporting daily operations in our café and assisting with various events hosted at our venue. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry and who are committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests.

In this role, you will work closely with our team to ensure that our guests have an outstanding dining experience while maintaining a high standard of service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Café Operations: Support the daily operations of our café, including food preparation, serving customers, and maintaining cleanliness in the café area.
• Customer Service: Greet and serve customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the café runs smoothly.
• Event Support: Participate in the planning and execution of events held at our venue, ensuring that all event requirements are met.
• Collaboration with Team: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations, especially during busy periods or events.
• Problem Resolution: Address any guest inquiries, concerns, or issues, providing quick and effective solutions to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and clean environment for both staff and customers.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Work Ethic: Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time effectively.
• Team Player: A positive attitude with a willingness to work collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. Available shifts are from 8 AM to 5 PM or 1 PM to 10 PM, with one weekday off.
