Scope of Position
To help ensure that the in-service Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) meets the contractual availability and maintaining the approval from the National Aviation Authority (NAA).
Key Responsibilities
- To verify all work in conjunction with standard operating procedures for the day-to-day operation of the FSTD.
- To verify preventative maintenance programs on the FSTD and additional associated equipment according to the respective maintenance manuals.
- To monitor simulation system performance and analyze maintenance difficulties.
- To maintain current and accurate documentation especially on FSTD Operations Manual.
- To carry out and verify Qualification Test Guide (QTG) as and when required by the appropriate authority.
- In-charge for yearly budget for OPEX and CAPEX especially on FSTD.
- Make a study and propose simulator upgrade if mandatory
- Deliver “On-Time Quality, On-Time Delivery” for FSTD.
- Up-keep the simulator within maintenance budget
- Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Models and Code of Conduct.
- Carry out any other task as directed by the superior.
- Diploma in Aviation Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years experience in flight simulation industry
- Wide experience with EASA, FAA, CAA Malaysia and any other National Aviation Authority
