Finance Assistant

We are now seeking a Finance Assistant (full-time) responsible for tasks such as financial records, transactions, and accounts management for the audit department’s review within the company.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Assistant located in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia Metropolitan Area. The assistant will need to maintain accurate data entry documents, ensure timely submission of financial documents and reports, collaborate with the audit department to facilitate smooth annual reviews, and maintain confidentiality in financial transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of financial processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. SQL, AutoCount, or QuickBooks)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams
• Committed to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures
• Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or audit preparation is a plus
