As the Finance Manager at The Makeover Guys, you will be overseeing the day-to-day financial operations. Your work will directly impact the finance function effectiveness of the group. We welcome candidates from all races, religions, genders, sexual orientations, and ages to join us!
What You’ll Do
Hybrid. Work closely with our CFO, Group Finance Director, People & Culture Manager, Accounts Executive.

What You’ll Do
- Drive the month end closing activities for the group of companies
- Review and analyze financial performance, cost and margin analysis, and report any abnormalities to the leadership team for immediate corrective action
- Ensure financial and accounting management is carried out in compliance with current regulations and standards
- Strengthen the internal controls within Finance including finance processes, policies, and procedures
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, AR collection issues
- Handle corporate tax and indirect tax matters (Sales & Service Tax, Withholding tax and Transfer Pricing)
- Monitor departmental spending against budget on a timely manner
- Responsible to provide weekly sales update to Sales team
- Responsible for the calculation of quarterly Sales Commission & Incentives
- Work with external parties on government programs, grants, and support schemes (if any)
- Handle statutory/special audit and tax audit (if any) coordination with auditor/tax agents and preparing the necessary schedules
- Additional ad-hoc tasks

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Professional accounting qualification is an added advantage
- At least 5 - 6 years of related working experience
- Experience from a Big 4 accounting firm or a blend of corporate and high growth start-up is an added advantage
- Proven track record in setting up operational structures
- In-depth knowledge in accounting and internal control
- Ability to work independently with large volume of data and drive insights
