Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Business Planning Analyst at IBM Malaysia, you will play a critical role in enabling strategic decision-making by delivering data-driven insights, developing financial models, and producing business forecasts. This role requires cross-functional collaboration to evaluate performance, identify growth opportunities, and support the creation of annual plans and budgets.

You will work closely with local finance teams, the Market CFO, and the Finance Controller to drive IBM's financial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis support to countries across the Asia Pacific region.
• Analyze forecasts, budgets, actual results, and key business metrics.
• Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Marketing to gather inputs and understand cost/revenue drivers.
  
  

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Chinese and/or Japanese is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams.
• Fresh graduates with 0-2 years working experience are encouraged to apply.
