Financial Controller

A Financial Controller job has become available at a company in property GLC based in Damansara.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to lead their financial operations, ensuring financial health, driving strategic financial initiatives, and compliance with regulatory requirements within the property investment holding company. This role offers an attractive salary range of RM180,000 to RM240,000 per annum and is based in Damansara. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to high-level business strategy and managing finances.

What You'll Do

As a Financial Controller, you will be at the forefront of the company's financial operations. Your role will involve preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reviewing presentations of various financial reports, conducting detailed financial planning & analysis, evaluating performance of business units, identifying tax incentives and credits, evaluating potential new investments and projects. You will also coordinate the annual budget process, develop forecasting models, monitor cash flow, ensure legal requirements for an IPO are met. Your role is pivotal in driving the company's success.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
• Review presentation of monthly, quarterly, mid-year and annual financial reports
• Conduct detailed financial planning & analysis
• Evaluate performance of business units
• Identify and evaluate available tax incentives and credits
• Evaluate potential new investments and projects
• Coordinate the annual budget process
• Develop and implement forecasting models, budgeting processes, and financial analysis to support strategic planning
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimize working capital
• Ensure that the company adheres to all legal requirements for an IPO
  
  

What You Bring

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and finance software applications is essential. • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles
• Experience with financial planning & analysis
