Job Description

• Own and deliver the national General Trade strategy across West and East Malaysia.
• Manage and performance-lead key distributors, ensuring strong coverage, execution, and compliance.
• Lead a direct internal GT sales team, including regional and area leaders.
• Drive results through indirect exclusive sales teams employed by distributors.
• Strengthen route-to-market effectiveness, coverage expansion, and outlet productivity.
• Set sales targets, manage forecasting, and track performance against KPIs.
• Partner closely with Trade Marketing, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure availability and in-store excellence.
• Build strong trade relationships and ensure alignment between internal and distributor teams.
• Monitor market and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12-15 years of FMCG sales experience, with deep expertise in General Trade.
• Proven experience managing nationwide GT sales across West and East Malaysia.
• Strong distributor management experience, including indirect team leadership.
• Demonstrated people leadership skills managing large, multi-layered teams.
• Commercially driven, hands-on leader with strong execution focus.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
