Job Summary
TheFPA Governance Analystis responsible forestablishing, enforcing, and optimizing financial governance frameworkswithin the FPA function. This role ensures adherence to corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices infinancial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting—with a focus on theIT/Technology sector. The ideal candidate will have deepFPA experience, expertise infinancial controls and compliance, and the ability to drive policy alignment across finance and IT teams.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Policy Governance Framework
- Develop, document, and maintain FPA governance policies, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Define and enforce financial controlsfor budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
- Conductperiodic policy reviewsand updates to reflect changes in business strategy, regulations, or industry best practices.
- Compliance Risk Management
- Monitor compliancewith internal financial policies and external regulations, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
- Partner withInternal Audit, Legal, and SOX teamsto ensure FPA processes meet governance and control requirements.
- Performrisk assessmentson financial planning activities, providing mitigation strategies for governance-related risks.
- Process Standardization Controls
- Standardize FPA workflows(e.g., budget approvals, forecast submissions, management reporting) to ensure consistency and auditability.
- Implementautomated controls and approval workflowsin financial systems (e.g., ERP, EPM tools) to reduce manual errors.
- Leadcross-functional governance reviewswith IT, Accounting, and Business Finance teams to ensure policy adherence.
- Financial Reporting Transparency
- Ensureaccuracy, consistency, and transparencyin financial reports provided to executives, auditors, and regulators.
- Maintain acentralized repository of FPA policies, procedures, and controls documentation.
- Preparegovernance dashboards and KPIsto track compliance and policy adoption across the organization.
- Stakeholder Training Awareness
- Train FPA, IT Finance, and business partnerson governance policies, controls, and compliance requirements.
- Act as theprimary point of contactfor FPA governance-related inquiries from leadership and auditors.
- Education:Bachelor’s degree inFinance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in FPA, Financial Governance, Controllership, or Audit(IT/Tech industry experience highly desirable).
- Proven track record indesigning and implementing financial policies, controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong understanding ofIT financial drivers(e.g., cloud economics, SaaS metrics, RD capitalization).
- Technical Skills:
- AdvancedExcel, PowerPoint, andfinancial systems(e.g., SAP, Workday, Anaplan, D365).
- Familiarity withBI tools (Power BI, Tableau), ERP/EPM systems, and SOX compliance.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder managementabilities.
- Excellent communicationskills to articulate governance policies to non-finance teams.
- Play acritical role in shaping financial governancefor a leading IT organization.
- Work at theintersection of finance, compliance, and technology.
