Position overview
allnex is looking for a Freight Procurement Specialist to join our GBS Procurement team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia! In this role, you will play a key role in managing and optimising the company's freight operations.

Responsibilities
- Accurately manage incoming freight invoices, resolve deviations, and identify root causes to implement preventive measures.
- Regularly upload and update freight rates in the ERP system to ensure accurate data.
- Create and maintain Freight routes in the ERP system.
- Collaborate with forwarders to obtain competitive airfreight quotes.
- Conduct monthly reviews of fuel surcharges and update records accordingly.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including Logistics, Carriers, Sourcing, and Accounts Payable, ensuring smooth and efficient communication.
- Generate freight reports and actively contribute to process automation and optimisation initiatives.
Required skills and experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must to support our operations in Greater China
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage
- Eager to learn and grow, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Economics, or a related field
