Duties:
- Patrol, monitor, and inspect the workplace within the Kidurong Dumpsite to detect any potential fire risks, such as flammable materials, faulty electrical wiring, and other potential sources of ignition, during and at the end of every shift.
- Respond and notify the person-in-charge immediately when an emergency situation or abnormal incident arises, such as fire, spillage, etc.
- Monitor, examine, and run a routine test on all firefighting equipment.
- Serve as an emergency response team (ERT) member to assist in any emergency incident in the Kidurong Dumpsite.
Requirements:
- Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional (SPMV) or equivalent. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- One (1) year of experience as a fire watcher or involvement in maintenance work would be an added advantage.
- Able to speak and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
