Job Description

OVERVIEW

• Maintain maximum production output with the highest quality and lowest rejection for all products from the production line under his/her in-charge.
• Assist the Supervisor to train, organise and control the operators. This includes checking the operator’s code of conduct, safety matter, productivity, production processes, operating conditions, product, quality, and production output/hr.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organize, control and arrange operators that are assigned by the Supervisors in carrying out daily tasks.
• Assist supervisor to train the operators and evaluate their performance from time to time.
• Check and ensure operators’ personal hygiene well maintained, not wearing any accessories or make up during work and no forbidden items bought inside work station/plant.
• Ensure all processes and parameters of the production lines are followed according to requirement and recorded in relevant checklists.
• Ensure the process and dipping tanks are well maintained and its mechanism are functioning in proper order and settings as required.
• To check, confirm & change over the latex supply from latex mixing tanks in a timely and orderly manner.
• Check and ensure all sieves in any dipping tanks are changed and cleaned as scheduled. Care must be taken to avoid introducing bubbles in dipping tanks.
• Change the water and / or clean all relevant dipping tanks. Ensure water flow in is at the required flow rate, adjust when/if necessary.
• Inform and obtain prior approval from Supervisor for any extra top-up of chemicals into the process.
• Check, analyse and record the gloves quality / defects from the line at every hours’ interval. Investigate and take immediate preventive or corrective actions where or when necessary. Inform the Supervisor on critical defect found and its severity. Obtain support and approval for remedial actions that are to be taken.
• Monitor and make adjustments base on superior approval and record the changes.
• Organise the rest time for operators and during non-rest time activity.
• Complete the production reports inside system, checklist and forms as per requirement.
• Ensure maintain good housekeeping and 5S at production line and its surrounding.
• Bypass (45days, 21days, AM, Shutdown, CP, CF etc) arrangement.
• Any other tasks that may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Minimum SPM, Cert & Diploma

Work Experience:

• At least 3 years of working experience in manufacturing

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

• Ability to analyse and solve problem
• Ability to organize, supervise and provide guidance
• Ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
• Good in Time Management
• Discipline
