Your Contribution
- Responsible for Gen+1 and Gen+2 product concepts
- Identification, planning, execution and assessment of proof of concept (POC) studies for Gen+1 and Gen+2 products
- In charge for technology scouting and assessment
- Developing new manufacturing process concepts
- Responsible for collaboration with Headquarter development teams and external partners
- Build up the core competency of the team to meet/exceed all department targets
- Work cross-functionally in a collaborative mode with multiple groups including Corporate R&D, Design team, Product Development, Process Development, NPI and Manufacturing teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Summarize complex problems, develop actions to address them, and build consensus across teams to drive for solutions.
- Reporting progress and status to higher management
- More than 10 years experience in the field of R&D or Product Development within the optical or semiconductor industry
- BSc/MSC/PhD Degree in Electronic Engineering / Material Science/ Physics/ Photonics / Optics and/or equivalent experience
- Excellent know how in the field of Optics
- Experience in technology and product development
- Leadership experience
- Good know how of manufacturing processes in the field of optics or semiconductor
- Deep know how in problem solving methods
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team building skills.
- Target driven personality with high execution focus
