Head of Project

What You’ll Do

The primary function of the job is to lead, managing resource planning, improve processes, projects implementation and field works/services for PMO in Malaysia.

• Lead, organize, plan and grow the PMO group according to business requirements and growth
• Project sales and billing plan forecast and deliver the committment
• Manage the team to drive cost control, meeting promised schedule, and achieving high quality deliverables of all projects within the acceptance based on company standard.
• Manage sub-contracting terms and conditions with service providers and all third parties involve in the projects.
• Work and collaborate with cross functions team within Eaton to meet Eaton business requirements and operational needs
• Motivate team members and support them to overcome project issues.
• Monitor all project works progress, provides regular update (bi-weekly) to PMO director.
• Foster good relationship with end user, Coloc provider, EPC & Consultant etc, maintain network with contractor, panel builder, system integrator etc.
• Participate Project related meeting, field testing & commissioning, service activities when needs arise.
• Create a culture of coninuous learning and help PMO team member in continuous development.
• Actively promotes ethical and principled behavior with customers, sales, divisions & management.

• Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking
• Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS
• Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements
• Ensuring the QMS meets its goals
• Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree, preferable in Industrial Engineering or any other Engineering

Min 8 years of Electrical Switchboard or UPS Project management experience

Skills

• Hands on experience on Power distribution (Switchboard), Power quality product (UPS), proven by being an engineer, managing project at the first time of the career
• Knowledge of various system in electrical engineering in broad range of Industry: datacenter, commercial, mining, utility, etc.
• Familiar with switchboard / panel builder manufacturing process
• Familiar with IEC 61439, IEC 62271
• Switchboard & UPS testing & commissioning, service activities knowledge, hands on experience is a plus point
