Duties/responsibilities (Training Provided) - Engage warmly with customers and provide expert advice on medications, supplements and rehabilitation products
- Assist customers in selecting suitable products and provide accurate information and counseling on their use.
- Support pharmacists in conducting health assessments such as blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol levels, and uric acid tests.
- Assist in the dispensing of medications and supplements under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Ensure product displays are organized and maintained in good condition.
- Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) and FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices to manage stock effectively.
- Receive and store incoming goods and participate in stock control and management.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints, and escalate issues to the appropriate pharmacy team member when necessary.
- Maintain professional and positive interactions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Affix price tags to products and ensure promotional displays are up-to-date and attractively arranged.
- Operate the cash register for processing both cash and card transactions.
- Balance the register with receipts at the end of the shift to maintain accurate sales records.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in any healthcare background (e.g., Medical, Nursing, Medical Lab, Physiotherapy, Clinical, Health Science, Biomedical Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Sport Science).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Having a friendly and engaging personality
- Outspoken, strong customer service skills and sales-oriented mindset
- Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia
