About the role
We are seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to join our team at MERISON (M) SDN BHD' in Kuantan, Pahang. As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our human resources operations and contributing to the overall success of our organisation. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in the field of human resources.
What you'll be doing
1) Maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
2) Administering employee benefits, compensation and payroll processing
3) Providing HR-related support and guidance to managers and employees
4) Collaborating with the HR team to enhance the overall employee experience
5) Oversee the daily functioning of the office (cleaning, maintenance, supplies).
6) Ensure office safety standards and compliance with health regulations.
7)Manage new hire orientation, complete necessary paperwork, and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
8) Update staff' daily attendance
9) Conduct exit interview for resign staff
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in an HR assistant or similar administrative role, preferably in a FMCG industry
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
- Proficient in the use of HR-related software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization
