Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Empower Our People

  • Uphold and cultivate operational excellence and embrace a sense of ownership in driving positive employee experience, process standardization and automation
  • Build effective relationships and act as first point of contact for employees. Leading by example to provide high quality HR solutions and service that meets customers’ needs
  • Contribute and optimize the use of technology to deliver cost effective and efficient HR administrative and transactional supports
  • Being the ambassador to drive user adoption and new ways of working
  • Collaborate with Local, Regional & Global HR Teams to ensure the Regional HR Service Delivery network provides consistent and effective services to our customers


Pursue Operating Excellence

  • Support and execute end-to-end employee lifecycle master data administration and transactional related topics, including employee inquiries
  • Provide guidance and support to empower employees to self-serve in various system processes within SuccessFactors
  • Analyze to identify customer’s requirements and frequently asked questions followed by developing reference materials or knowledge articles to support Manager Self-Service and Employee Self-Service options
  • Create process documentations and work instructions to support and facilitate HR Service Delivery’s operations in accordance to the standard outlined in HR Service Delivery Document and Knowledge Governance Framework
  • Ensure timely updates and reviews on HR Service Delivery process documentations and work instructions as outlined in operations framework.
  • This includes changes related to employment policies, practices and local employment legislation with regards to end-to-end employee administrative processes
  • Ensure data transactions, document retention and filing are in accordance to the requirements of policies, internal audit and local legislative requirements
  • Perform regular review and check on data to ensure accuracy and data integrity
  • Analyze data and trends to identify potential system and process risk and to explore mitigation alternatives, i.e.: conducting Root Cause Analysis activity to identify improvement opportunities
  • Support to troubleshoot operations escalations, system testing, HR operations related projects, internal & external audit activities & etc.
  • Co-facilitate team’s daily stand-up meeting to discuss priorities, problem-solve and sharing learnings and improvement opportunities and ensure completion of assigned daily priorities
  • Close partnership and connection with HR Community and Business Leaders in providing HR supports and to seek feedback for improvement action plans
  • Conduct trainings related to specific processes and/or system functionalities for our team members, HR Community and internal stakeholders

Expected Areas of Competence

  • Keeping abreast of APAC countries local laws and regulations
  • Having the first-time right mindset and an excellent organizational, coaching and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

  • Strong working knowledge of HR information systems, statistical analysis and problem solving
  • Organized; able to handle complexity and multiple priorities.
  • Manages time effectively and focuses on high priority opportunities
  • Awareness of data privacy, sensitive and confidential and data protection
  • Multi-lingual capabilities preferred: English, Mandarin, Japanese (preferred)

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Shared Services experience and good understanding of employee lifecycle, HR policies, process, and HR systems.
  • Good interpersonal skill and ability to communicate well both oral & written (English & Japanese) in a diverse work environment and additional Asian languages are added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience of SuccessFactors and Human Capital Management (HCM) and knowledge of Microsoft Office with advance proficiency level in Microsoft Excel
