HR Services Specialist - Your future position?

To provide subject matter expertise and 2nd level support to HR Services in resolving issues related to employee administration as well as performance, talent or succession planning. Serve as escalation and key processing contact for Local HR issues e.g., Data as well as external parties e.g., compliance reporting – government entity or 3rd party vendors

In this exciting and strategic role, you will:

Service Delivery

  • Coordinate daily operation and support the HR Services Manager in the service delivery
  • Act as a first escalation point to the HR Advisors
  • Plan new joiner on boarding agenda and manage the functional training to them
  • Handle customer queries/requests on HR Services, escalated by HR Services team
  • Apply organizational policies, practices and procedures to analyse situations or data from which customer query/request can be readily resolved
  • Investigate on requests which cannot be resolved by analysing the nature of the request / diagnosing the problem and route them to the appropriate next line support within GBS; prioritize issues
  • Collaborate with other team members of GBS HR, as necessary, to resolve complex customer queries/requests
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and research inconsistencies in information before resolving customer query
  • Adhere to policies and procedures and service levels
  • Develop reports, data files and/or audits as required by 3rd parties and Vendors
  • Serve as a Tier 2 across GBS network for continuous improvement
  • Validate as necessary applicable vendor queries e.g., data mgmt., systems to ensure timely and accurate payroll run
  • Be the main point of contact between HRIS and HRS escalate and support prioritize issues
  • Act as regional focal points or representative for assigned improvement projects

Documentation

  • Support HR Services to document information regarding customer queries and resolution
  • Ensure proper and timely SOP update
  • Knowledge management
  • Drive the maintenance of knowledge management within the HR Services;
  • Be up to speed on the latest policy changes in HR services and then train the HR Services representatives on the changes as applicable for Local HR or Employee knowledge

Vendor management

  • Engage with third party agencies as and when required and ensure they meet SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and key performance indicators. Provide inputs for GSO / GSE as required on vendor performance

Reporting

  • Prepare more complex and standard GBS HR reports, including ad-hoc request as per required

Your professional profile includes:

  • More than 7 years working in a shared service environment/ customer service environment
  • College or University degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Software Skills: proficient in relevant computer applications, SAP / SuccessFactors preferably
  • Functional certification: Good knowledge of various HR processes
