Job Summary:

The Human Resource Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department by performing a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This position is responsible for assisting with office and clients' payroll calculation and other HR-related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, such as preparing offer letters, conducting new hire orientations, and processing necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain employee records and files.

Employee Relations:

  • Assist with employee relations matters, including handling inquiries, resolving disputes, and providing support to employees.
  • Maintain employee attendance records and manage leave requests.
  • Organize employee training and development programs.

HR Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HR information system.
  • Prepare HR reports and analyses as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with HR information systems
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English and Malay).
