Position Title: Hybrid Cloud DevOps Intern

Location: Menara Maxis, Kuala Lumpur

Duration: 3 Months

Role Overview: The Hybrid Cloud DevOps Intern is a key member of the Cloud Center of Excellence (COE) team, responsible for supporting the provisioning, onboarding, and management of cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development. This role provides hands-on experience in automating and managing hybrid cloud environments using various tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management:

• Support the maintenance and management of cloud infrastructure using IaC principles.
• Assist in provisioning and onboarding tasks for cloud services.
  
  

Automation Tasks

• Utilize basic scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash for automation and infrastructure management tasks.
• Contribute to automating the provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure resources using tools like Ansible.
  
  

Cloud Solutions

• Gain exposure to and assist with solutions on major cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
• Develop an understanding of cloud architecture and deployment best practices.
  
  

Infrastructure As Code (IaC)

• Assist in developing and managing infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudFormation templates and Terraform.
• Participate in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate IaC delivery processes, including code testing and deployment.
  
  

Unix/Linux Systems

• Work with Unix/Linux operating systems as part of cloud infrastructure management.
• Perform basic tasks related to system administration and management.
  
  

Required Skills/Experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic technical knowledge in hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including tools like GitHub Actions.
• Basic knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems.
