The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Job Description: The Incubation team will be responsible for growing merchants on ShopeeFood to ensure that merchants meet their performance targets. To also assist with daily operational tasks contributing to campaign participation
Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible in negotiation with merchants and ensuring merchants participate in platform initiatives
• Analyze and track performance metrics of merchants, providing actionable insights to improve merchants' growth
• Work closely with the merchants to resolve any issues, challenges, or bottlenecks in the growth process
• Develop and implement processes for better efficiency and alignment between internal teams and merchants

Requirements:

• SPM or Diploma in any field, preferred but not limited to Business, Commerce, Marketing
• Knowledgeable and passionate about e-commerce / digital payments
• Effective presentation skills, backed by good business acumen
• Enjoy challenges and remain flexible in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
• Proactively engage, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Innovative problem-solving skills, able to dissect problems and implement solutions accordingly
• Excellent command of English, the ability to converse fluently in other languages (e.g.: Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin) to communicate with merchants from diverse backgrounds
• Open to flexible working arrangements during peak seasons / based on business needs
