Industrial Painter

We are seeking an industrial painter OR skilled Painting and Coating Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in applying various types of coatings including primer, urethane, epoxy, fireproofing, and waterproofing on various surfaces in industrial settings.

SITE LOCATION

Lot 89, Block 1, Kemena Land District, Samalaju Industrial Park, 97300, Bintulu, Sarawak

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
• Apply paint and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to coatings and application processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in painting and coating, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
• Knowledge of different types of paints and coatings, including primer, urethane, epoxy, fireproofing, and waterproofing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Maintain good attendance
