You will play a key role in managing risk, ensuring safe practices, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to uphold compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This role also requires a Competent Person Certification, which is essential for ensuring that industry-specific standards are met.
What will you be doing?
- Accountable for ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement compliance programs and risk management plans.
- Collaborate with the sales, installation, and maintenance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Manage documentation and reporting for compliance audits and reviews.
- Work with external regulators and authorities to ensure all certifications and approvals are obtained.
- Provide guidance and training to teams on compliance-related issues.
- Monitor project financials to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Ensure that the Competent Person Certification requirements are maintained and adhered to throughout all compliance processes.
- Proven experience in compliance management, preferably in the construction or installation industries.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and risk management practices.
- Competent Person Certification is required.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance.
