Intern, Business Process Organization

Job overview:

The Quality and Environment Intern will support the Quality and Environment department in various tasks related to maintaining and improving quality standards and environmental sustainability practices within the organization. The intern will gain practical experience in quality management systems, environmental compliance, and data analysis, while contributing to the organization's commitment to quality and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the organization's quality management system, including documentation control, process audits, and corrective actions.

• Support the development and execution of environmental sustainability initiatives, such as recycling programs, World Environment Day, GoGreen Volunteer Day etc.

• Contribute to the preparation and coordination of internal quality and environmental audits.

• Support the creation and delivery of training materials, broadcasts and awareness campaigns on Integrated Management System (IMS), quality and environmental topics for employees.

• Collaborate with team members on special projects or assignments related to quality and environmental initiatives.

• Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to quality and environmental activities.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, such as Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related field.

• Strong interest in quality management systems, environmental sustainability, or related areas.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative in completing assigned tasks.

• Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001) is a plus but not required.

• This internship is to be based at Subang Jaya, USJ 25
