Internship for Accounting Student

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, such as data entry, invoice processing, and payment processing
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with other month-end closing tasks
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other compliance-related tasks
• Support the accounting team in ad hoc projects and tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
