Short Summary

The incumbent is responsible for planning, organising and managing investigations of cases related to issues faced by clients in trading, cases of interest that have been flagged by Supervisors, abiding by company’s internal policies and ensuring best practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle client queries pertaining to investigations e.g. and etc
• Handling of all reported and suspected abuse or issues in trading including but not limited to server down, negative balance protection, slippage, admin charge, stop loss, missing rebates and swap charge, misconduct, policy/procedure breaches and timely issuance of reports for management use either for internal or external actions in addressing root courses, control enhancements and for likely litigation actions.
• Gather information from client e.g. ticket ID and check-through in GRC. Investigate information received against logs.
• Developing training & manuals for new products or educational material for clients and employees.
• Liaise with dealing to confirm our findings/compensation.
• Revert to client on the feedback/findings.
• Attend to mass queries from IBs pertaining to clients, configuration of Rebates in PowerIB and processing of MasterCard applications to be sent to Gate2Pay.
• Maintaining high quality, clean data by adhering to a strict governance and controls framework.
• Support Copy trading, Data Integration projects/ change initiatives/ process enhancement.
• Extensive liaison with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues faced.
• Assist Investigations Manager in report creation.
• Suggest improvement to the systems and processes.
• Design and implement reconciliations and MI/KPIs to support our business and evidence controls.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills to be able to analyse complex information and data to uncover patterns, anomalies, or discrepancies.
• Knowledge of investigative techniques and procedures: Familiarity with various investigation methods, such as surveillance, interviews, analysis, and evidence collection, is essential.
• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for preparing reports, documenting findings, and presenting information to stakeholders.
• Attention to detail: Investigations often involve sifting through large amounts of information, so attention to detail is crucial to identifying relevant evidence.
• Ethical behaviour: Integrity and a strong ethical compass are essential for conducting investigations impartially and adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Computer skills: Proficiency in using investigative software, databases, and other technology tools is often required.
• 3 – 5 years of experience.
• Proficiency in English and Malay is often required, as investigations may involve communication with diverse stakeholders and analysing documents in both languages.
