Job Description

**Job Opening: IT Technician / Deskside Support**

**Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, Standard Office Hours / Follow Client Operation Hours
**Salary:** Based on experience and capabilities
**Age Requirement:** 18 and above (male & female)
**Experience:** Basic computing knowledge; training provided
**Location:** Kuala Lumpur / Selangor / Penang

### **Responsibilities:**

  • Perform onsite diagnosis and repairs for hardware issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and user IT issues.
  • Configure PCs, laptops, printers, software, hardware, and basic networking.
  • Install, reinstall, configure, or reimage software/applications.
  • Provide 1st-level printer support (paper jam, toner, media replacement).
  • Deliver deskside or phone-based technical support.
  • Maintain good customer relationships and service quality.
  • Meet SLAs and follow proper resolution processes.
  • Update Work Orders accurately and promptly.
  • Report daily cases using mobile devices.
  • Clock in/out through the HRMS mobile app.
  • Respond to company communications in a timely manner.
  • Support team tasks and assist when needed.

### **Qualifications:**

  • 1–3 years of experience repairing PCs, laptops, or printers (advantage).
  • Salary negotiable based on experience.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

### **Nature of the Work:**

This is an onsite IT field support role involving customer visits and hands-on technical work. It helps build strong technical and problem-solving skills within the IT services industry.

For **Deskside Support roles**, candidates will be placed at client sites to provide continuous support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades. Responsibilities depend on the client’s Statement of Work (SOW). Working hours follow the client’s schedule, and support for nearby branches may be required.

  • Own transport and willingness to travel.
  • Valid driving license and confident driving skills.
  • Able to work at customer sites and travel when needed.
  • Basic English communication and computer literacy.
  • Responsible, hardworking, and able to handle challenges.
  • Strong service mindset and good focus.
  • Willing to learn with a positive attitude.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Willing to cross-train in multiple support areas.
