Junior SAP Specialist (ARIBA)

SAP Ariba is a core digital procurement function in Gamuda where the Ariba Full Suite (Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracts and Procure-to-Pay Modules) have been implemented and fully utilized by the Group since 2019. We are looking for an Enterprise Solution Specialist role to acquire skillsets in SAP Ariba and carry out implementation, enhancements, user support, reporting & migration activities, SAP Ariba user adoption activities and process improvements to maximize the business impact in digitalization.The incumbent will be reporting to IT, to be trained in the SAP Ariba digital procurement systems and processes, primarily the Ariba Upstream modules (Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracts) and Downstream module (Procure-to-Pay). He/she will also be developed to be the main reference point for the SAP Ariba Upstream and Downstream and also in the aspect of reporting & analytics as part of the team in achieving a data driven culture, better governance and best practices in supply chain processes.The incumbent also needs to undertake Project Administrator role in assisting PMO office during the implementation of SAP Ariba for Gamuda subsidiaries

• Key member of SAP Ariba team, assisting and reporting to the Project Manager while working closely with consultants and end-users, primarily for the Upstream modules (Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracts) and Downstream Module (Procure-to-Pay)

• Build internal capabilities to maintain and support the SAP Ariba Upstream and Downstream modules for the group

• Address issues arising from the SAP Ariba Upstream and Downstream modules and from implementation of new processes, functions or enhancements

• Conduct reporting and data analytics from the SAP Ariba data pool, whilst exploring possible third-party tools

• Responsible for SAP Ariba projects, including project planning, resource allocation and stakeholder management.

• Assist the Project Manager to manage project scope, risk and issue resolution while being responsible for quality of project deliverables

• Assist the Project Manager to manage integration of solution(s) into enterprise technical architecture and business environment (i.e. Analytics, SAP Ariba, SAP MM etc)

• Coordinate work activities with external implementation partners in bringing the project to execution and live environment.

• Assist the Project Manager to be responsible for ensuring that the project can deliver the benefits outlined in the business case, and that it meets the reasonable expectations of end users

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Systems, Engineering or related fields are strongly preferred

• Experienced and Knowledgeable in SAP Ariba

• Strong skills in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (e.g., collaborating.)

• Proven experience in developing stakeholder relationships at all levels of an organization

• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business issues

• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment

• Good business acumen skills, preferably in construction industry or project costing, or digital procurement area.

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
