Position Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing instructional materials, such as e-learning modules, classroom presentations, and assessments.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and create content that meets the needs of the target audience.
  • Applying instructional design principles and theories to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Using technology and multimedia tools to create interactive and visually appealing content.
  • Work hand in hand with Learning and Development Lead and Manager to conducting needs analysis and evaluating the effectiveness of the developed content.
  • Maintaining a consistent look and feel for all learning materials and ensuring that they meet brand and accessibility standards.
  • Staying current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and continuously improving content design skills.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • Gather requirements and feedback and ensuring that the content is aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Providing guidance and support to other team members or departments on instructional design principles and best practices.
  • Working with the technology team to integrate the learning content with the appropriate learning management system (LMS) or other technology platforms.
  • Designing and implementing assessment strategies and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the learning content and make data-driven improvements.
  • Maintaining a centralized repository of learning materials and ensuring that they are easily accessible and up to date.
  • Continuously improving their own skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by superior/ management.

Qualification & Experience

  • A bachelor's degree either in instructional design, educational technology or 2-5 years of experience in instructional design, instructional technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 - 5 years of experience in instructional design or a related field such as curriculum development or technical writing.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring, multimedia design, or any other multimedia designing tools that is applicable to job required.
  • Have experience applying instructional design principles.
  • Experience creating graphics, animations, and other multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience is important.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working with a team to meet deadlines is valuable.
  • Experience collaborating with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and team members to gather requirements and provide feedback is critical.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to identify and solve problems, with a data-driven and analytical approach.
  • A creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to come up with new and engaging ideas for learning content.
