Job Summary

We are looking for Legal Clerk to manage administrative tasks in the Firm. Your clerical and administrative support will assist office personnel and optimize workflow. Job duties include organizing files, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, typing up documents, inputting information into our database and any general administrative work. We welcome fresh graduates to apply for the position, any candidate that has at least one year of experience as a secretary or administrative assistant has added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provide secretarial and administrative support to a team of lawyers.
  2. Handle confidential documents, prepare and compile legal paper for court filings and e-filings, and upkeep electronic and physical folders.
  3. Organize all legal documents and ensure they are updated.
  4. Track deadlines to ensure documents are filed in a timely manner.
  5. Answer phone calls and attend to emails, and when necessary, screen and redirect calls, etc.
  6. Perform any ad-hoc task as and when required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  2. Previous experience as legal clerk/ secretary is an added advantage.
  3. Proficient in English and Malay, both written and verbal.
  4. Skilled with MS office and PDF conversions.
  5. Knowledge of legal software and court filing procedure including electronic filing is an added advantage.
  6. Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  7. Must have a keen eye for detail and is able to work within strict deadlines.
