Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice in respect of regulatory guidelines applicable to products and business conduct.
- Liaison with external lawyers on all legal matters such as litigation, conveyancing and corporate matters.
- To handle corporate, conveyancing and litigation matters with emphasis on Contract and Company Laws.
- Draft and review agreements / contracts and other legal documents for various requirement of the Group of Companies.
- To provide legal advice and supports to various departments within the Group of Companies, its subsidiaries, affiliates and/or on matters affecting their business administration and operations, corporate and commercial matters.
- Monitor all legal matters affecting the Group of Companies.
- Minimum LLB (Hons) and admitted to Malaysian Bar as Advocate & Solicitor
- At least 6 years PQE in recognized and reputable law firms, institutions, or organizations
- Ability to manage urgent and complex tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to interact professionally at all levels.
- Proactive, ability to take initiative and work independently with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and with minimum supervision
- Possess strong communication and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to provide effective legal solutions to facilitate business in alignment with strategic priorities
- Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Pleasant personality, hardworking and a team player
