Responsibilities


  • Monitor live shipments through tracking systems, control towers, and carrier platforms.
  • Provide proactive updates to customers regarding shipment status, delays, or exceptions.
  • Ensure timely communication of Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and delivery status.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for customers regarding shipment visibility.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely updates.
  • Proactively communicate solutions in case of disruptions (e.g., customs holds, weather delays).
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring service excellence.
  • Escalate shipment issues to operations, carriers, or warehouse teams where required.
  • Coordinate internally and externally to resolve exceptions and minimize impact on customer supply chains.
  • Log and track customer complaints or service issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Generate shipment visibility reports for customers.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and update systems regularly.


Requirements


  • Minimum a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, or control tower roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (customer-facing experience is essential).
  • Knowledge of transportation modes (air, sea, land) and international shipping processes.
  • Proficient in logistics tracking systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first attitude.
