The Job
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer (E&I) to further strengthen our Maintenance department.
As a Maintenance Engineer you are required to lead maintenance projects and give substantive and technical support to the Maintenance team in order to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and proactively guarantee production continuity with focus on costs.
Some of your main duties & responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards, identify and address potential risks
- Plan, execute, and optimize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for electrical systems and instruments
- Manage calibration of instruments (flowmeters, temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, level switches)
- Support automation, process control optimization, and instrumentation upgrades
- Lead and participate in maintenance and technical projects, providing design and equipment input
- Coordinate and evaluate contractors, ensuring work is carried out safely and within budget
- Analyze recurring issues, conduct root cause investigations, and implement improvement actions
- Maintain accurate as-built drawings, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Supervise spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers for quality and cost-effective materials
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to maintenance teams and E&I technicians.
- Participate in daily production and maintenance coordination meetings
- Support asset management, condition-based monitoring, and risk assessments for production equipment
Who are we looking for?
You'll succeed if:
- You have possess minimum Bachelor, Professional or a Master Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferably electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering
- You have proven successful experience with at least 3 years in the related field
- You have excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You can support and work collaboratively with colleagues
- You are open to new ideas and suggest ways to improve
- You have knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
- You must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Port Klang
