- Adhere HSE requirement and perform safe work in work place.
- To ensure and maintain good 5S practice in work place and maintenance workshop.
- To communicate efficiently among peers and superior.
- Provide electrical, instrument and mechanical maintenance to the plant on a reactive and preventative basis.
- To maintain machine spare part inventory level.
- To improve downtime by complying with MDT (Mean Down Time) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure).
- To perform breakdown diagnosis, rectification works of production machinery, facility equipment, R&D laboratory equipment and Logistic equipment.
- Execute maintenance duties as directed by superior.
- Fast respond during emergency and breakdown of machines.
- Communicate with the other shifts the status of parts, equipment and any other matters that might have an impact on their job through verbal and written means.
- Propose improvements and help develop new maintenance job plans & procedures
- To record machine breakdown job accomplishment in the communication book and JOC.
- To ensure daily checklist being recorded accordingly and comply with procedure
- To comply with company procedure, rules and regulations.
- To carry out multitask jobs and assignment thus improving quality and productivity.
- To undertake any other ad hoc duties as instructed by superior.
- Be aware of any significant environmental aspects associated with their work and work area including proper handling of scheduled wastes
- Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics or equivalent.
- Good technical background, Experience on Maintenance Equipment and facility.
- Minimum 1 years of strong working experience in the related field
- Familiar with cable extrusion, cabling machine and wire drawing machine is an added advantage.
Attributes
- Possess high analytical problem-solving skill and with proactive attitude.
- Able to read and interpret machine mechanical drawing, machine electrical and electronics drawing and service repair manuals.
- Able to construct, modify and trouble shoot problems related to electrical machines and their controller.
- Possess minimum rotating machine installation, programming and diagnosis skills.
- Possess minimum intermediate PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to construct, troubleshoot and modify machinery electrical control.
- Able to construct, diagnose and modify hydraulic and pneumatic control system and piping.
- Able to perform welding, lathe and milling machining.
- Preferably with sound knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skill with every level.
- Willing to work on shift.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Possess high initiative to study new technology and flexible.
