We are looking for a Maintenance Sales Engineer who is able to work well in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you will have a unique opportunity to interact with various stakeholders in the construction industry, ranging from developers, consultants, and architects right down to individual owners by providing them with sound technical advice in relation to elevators and escalators.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To prepare new contract agreements for customers' approval consideration
  • Monitor all existing and free maintenance contracts prior to expiry and prepare new revised agreements for customer approval.
  • Call and visit the customers when necessary for negotiation and securing purposes matters
  • Attend all customer telephone and email enquiries
  • To key in data entry on any monthly fee updates from time to time. Also, to key in the customer’s E-procurement portal for invoice payment submission
  • Prepare outstanding contract expiry listing, sales inquiries, sales secured, repair sales, and unit movement status reports for internal and external meetings
  • To vet through any customer contract format clauses with the contract manager and service department/branches prior to sending to top management signature approval
  • To plan, monitor and propose fees increment to any customer on the yearly exercise
  • Reply and prepare any related letters to customers pertaining to the Contract matters
  • To assist and liaise with Finance and Accounting Division regarding the collection of servicing fees within a specific period
  • To attend to any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by your immediate superior or the Management from time to time
  • Plan, monitor and secured the maintenance fees turnover set by Company
  • To follow up on outstanding payment and collection-related matters
  • To prepare quotations and costing based on Request Quotation (RQ) submissions from the Service Department before sending them to customers for approval consideration
  • Coordinated with customers, contractors, service, planning and major repair team in the commencement and completion of servicing/repairs jobs
  • Visit and conduct site inspection for all suspended or lost units which customers intend to award back for servicing continuation.
  • To prepare (if necessary) a survey report for customer consideration
  • To follow up on outstanding payment and collection-related matters

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electrical/ Mechanical)/ Sales & Marketing /Business Administration
  • Knowledgeable in handling sales, invoices and delivery orders
  • Able to work independently with a good sense of responsibility
  • Own transport for travelling
  • Self-motivated and possess a positive working attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of people
  • Preferably those candidates with experience in the lift industry will be an added advantage
  • With good written and presentation skills in English
