MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Technician is responsible to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the plant shop floor machines.
• Responsible for repairing and maintaining the Mechanical and Electrical conditions of machines, operational equipment and safety equipment by keeping a routine servicing schedule.
• To lead and managing vendor to meet the requirements of local regulations and standards.
• To follow up equipment and machineries maintenance procedures and ensure its implementation e.g. Daily Machine Checklist, Periodic Maintenance Schedule.
• To carry out routine inspections of the facilities and machineries as Total Preventive Maintenance program.
• To manage and monitor all equipment and machineries inventories, movement and maintain Repair and Maintenance Log Book for tracking.
• To monitor expenses and control budget for repair and maintenance
• To troubleshoot, repair and maintain machines, operational and safety equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness at workplace is kept and maintained at all times.
• To follow waste and chemical management procedure and practice proper waste disposal.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial) or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
• Added advantage for 2 year in related in plastic manufacturing. Able to speak, write and read Mandarin, English, Malay and computer literate.
