What You'll Do
As a Management Accountant (Assistant Manager), you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include performing various closing processes for financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. You will also be tasked with preparing comprehensive financial reports for group consolidation. Additionally, you will analyse the company's financial and operational performance, identifying any trends or variances that may arise. Your role will also involve assisting in the preparation of presentation materials for meetings and fulfilling group reporting requirements. Lastly, you will establish and maintain internal controls for accounting and financial procedures.
The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant (Assistant Manager) position is someone who holds a university degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance. Membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) or another recognized professional body in Malaysia is required. You must be a Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance related discipline. Experience in financial audit and forecasting is preferred. Strong written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
