Your Job:

CDM deals with frontlines of accounts as well as senior management and is expected to do regular business reviews with key stakeholders of the major accounts. This position also works with KCPI’s Sales Operations Department, Marketing Department, Trade Marketing Group, Supply Chain Department and Finance Department to develop specific account activities that would increase offtake in their own respective portfolios.

The position has a main responsibility in making the K-C products available in the assigned key account branches as well as ensuring implementation and execution of marketing promos/programs. This position interacts and engages with the different representatives of each department that she/he works with. Representative of the assigned Key Account and the different representatives of the different K-C departments.

CDM will provide also the support needed by each of departments he/she works with. The support needed to successfully execute Marketing Department’s programs, remind the account and monitor collections and payments of the account to help Finance and others. From time to time, they may be required to assist their colleagues in other divisions such as Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance.

Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities

  • Develops, implements, and monitors plans towards the achievement of targets of his/her accounts. He/she provides daily work direction so that sales targets are achieved within budget spend rate.
  • Direct responsibility for achievement of sales targets of assigned accounts/territories.
  • Develop plans to address variation versus Budgets, provide demand forecast for responsible area/accounts.
  • Manage Trade Promotional Budget.
  • Maximize sales and manage the allocated Trade Fund to generate the desired profitable sales mix.
  • Develop plans to address variation versus Budgets, provide demand forecast for responsible area. Develop and implement customer business plan in alignment with the areas or account’s strategic Sales, Marketing and Category plan.
  • To achieve Business Objectives of Operating Profit, Volume and Strategic Business Planning.
  • Implement data analysis and other programs to optimize K-C Reach / Coverage. Achieve coverage, call / day, effective call (productive call), work plan targets.
  • Implement priority code lists by customer type and implement a cost-efficient MT Model
  • Provide accurate sales forecast and align customers and K-C Supply Chain process / activities where applicable.
  • Monitor profitability in order to develop and implement initiatives to manage acceptable Gross-to-Net ratios and strategic sales mix
  • To achieve superior reach, distribution and availability of K-C products.
  • Implement Category Management disciplines and solutions with customers and Shopper Research outcomes / activities in Modern Trade outlets where applicable.
  • Implement customer Business Plan. Develop and maintain customer profiles. Develop customer business planning and review presentation. Manage company’s relationship with assigned customers with an emphasis on developing new business opportunities. Establish strategic, cross-functional relationships and regular dialogue with key stakeholders.
  • Inform all key stakeholders on trade and competitive intelligence and provide recommendations as they apply to assigned customers.
  • Participate in the full utilization and compliance with K-C mandated performance management process for all consumer sales staff (may include third party sales and merchandising teams)

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in FMCG sales handling major/key accounts
  • Strategic thinker with excellent skills in data analysis and time management
  • Excel and Powerpoint proficient
  • Strong demonstration of business partnering/customer service
  • With good communication skills, assertive and flexible
  • Good project management skills
  • Highly adaptable and open to learn new concepts.
  • Shows initiative and creativity
  • Conscious about quality of work
  • Can work independently and solve problems.
  • Seeks to continuously improve.
  • Seeks new trends in ways of doing.
