Job Summary

The System Application Manager collaborates with teams to understand business needs, conducts requirements analysis, and drives the development of innovative solutions. They manage application projects, optimize designs, and foster stakeholder relationships while ensuring data security and effective documentation throughout the application lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to gather and analyze business needs and strategies.

• Assist in developing new organizational capabilities.

• Generate comprehensive functional design documents consistent with business objectives.
• Implement creative solutions to resolve technical challenges.
• Effectively manage and coordinate application development initiatives.
• Assess technical feasibility, enhance designs, and troubleshoot production challenges.
• Work collaboratively across departments to formulate strategies for design, technology, and vendor management.
• Guide the team in creating conceptual architecture design specifications and defining application scope.
• Apply project management techniques to decompose tasks, establish timelines, and oversee deadlines.
• Lead project teams in planning, scoping, scheduling, financial oversight, and risk analysis.
• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to meet project objectives and team goals.
• Supervise training design, documentation, user acceptance testing, and vendor-related activities.
• Collaborate with vendors to establish overall project timelines and resource allocation plans.
• Design and specify information system solutions, focusing on functionality, security, and performance.
• Oversee all aspects of Application Systems related to property sales, property management, customer relationship management, integrations, audits, etc.
• Record system operations, functional tasks, and implementation documentation while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
  
  

Qualifications

Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Information Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience inapplication management, software development, or IT project management.

Skills & Abilities

• Proven work experience as a System/Application Manager or in a related digital project management role.
• Expertise in process improvement, with a solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools relevant to application development and deployment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify critical system issues, gather relevant data for analysis, and develop effective operational recommendations.
• Strong risk assessment skills with the ability to quickly identify potential risks and make informed recommendations to mitigate them.
• Proven experience in delivering effective digital solutions with measurable outcomes that align with business objectives.
• Skilled in developing persuasive business cases to advocate for new technologies and strategic initiatives that enhance application performance and drive organizational success
