Roles & Responsibilities
- Build relationships with business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
- Engage with the business leaders as a strategic partner to understand their business needs and translating the business strategy into relevant and impactful HR initiatives, including but not limited to talent management, manpower planning, talent development, and engagement.
- Provide advice and direction in the facilitation of the current and future manpower requirements for the BU or operational objectives.
- Follow-up with Talent Sourcing Unit on the placement, sourcing and/ or recruitment status and update BU Heads.
- Provide advisory support on ER/IR matters e.g. disciplinary, grievances, performance management in collaboration with SDGI HR Governance & Industrial Relations.
- Provide advisory support on talent management and development plans for the business unit with a focus on enhancing the quality of leaders and managers, building skills and capabilities of the workforce, and ensuring succession bench strength.
- Analyse workforce trends to model and forecast future labour requirements to support business in workforce planning and succession management.
- Act as a liaison between the line, HR Operational Excellence and COE to address internal client needs.
Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Human Resource/ Business Administration/any relevant discipline with at least 8 -10 years working experience in HR.
- Possess a relevant certification in Human Resources Management
- Experience in dealing with operational HR and business landscape.
- HR Business Partner experience for these markets: Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Europe & South Africa.
- Experience in managing a HR unit and HR projects will be an added advantage.
- Experience in HR systems, preferably with Workday.
