Get to Know the Team

The Mobility Strategy team works with senior business and product leaders to define where to play and how to win for the mobility business. We use hypotheses-led to tackle the biggest challenges and chart the growth path in mobility.

Get to Know the Role

As a Manager in the Mobility Strategy team, you will report into the Senior Manager, Mobility Strategy in a hybrid working arrangement. You will work with senior leaders to set strategic direction for cross-functional teams throughout the business and tech divisions and navigate complex problem statements to grow the Mobility business in the Grab region.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will quickly grasp new and complex concepts, triangulate multiple data points, and form recommendations to solve high-priority problem statements.
• You will assess trade-offs in decisions by evaluating effort vs Return On Investment (ROI) to steer the team towards the right course of action, even if it means pivoting from initial plans.
• You will develop solutions on the anticipated risks and weaknesses.
• You will lead clarity in teams involving product, design, analytics, and engineering.
• You will manage end-to-end special projects from brainstorming to execution.
• You will build an understanding of new areas for growth and the competitive landscape to identify future growth engines.
  
  

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a product, strategy or analytical role
• You can analyse complex concepts and triangulate multiple data points.
• You are proficient in assessing trade-offs in decisions by evaluating effort versus Return On Investment (ROI).
• You can anticipate risks and weaknesses in plans and develop proactive solutions.
• You have experience leading efforts across product, design, analytics, and engineering teams and managing end-to-end special projects for plans.
• You understand new areas for growth and assess the competitive landscape.
