Manager - Progression - Southeast Asia

About the Role:
You will implement CIMA's student progression and retention strategy across South East Asia (SEA), with a focus on improving exam attempts, pass rates, and advancement through the CIMA qualification. You will be responsible for planning, organising, and evaluating student and partner events that increase engagement and progression outcomes. You will collaborate with tuition partners, company partners, and employers to deliver impactful programs. You will also oversee the planning of important regional flagship events. You will report to the Director - SEA Market and line manage a direct report.
You Will:
- Implement student progression and retention strategies. Design country-level action plans to improve pass rates, exam attempts, retention, and lapsed recovery across SEA.
- Develop and deliver student/tutor support programmes. Plan and manage projects such as revision classes, exam technique workshops, Train-the-Trainer, and structured learning journeys to support exam success.
- Lead event management for flagship and regional programs including ENGAGE Asia, CFO Conferences, CGMA Leadership Academy, and regional progression-focused activities.
- Manage and strengthen tuition/learning partner relationships to ensure partners promote CIMA, deliver high-quality exam training, and adopt official learning resources.
- Work with your team to support employers and corporate partners to ensure sponsored students and employees have access to suitable tuition, resources, and progression pathways.
- Evaluate projects and report performance; Track Return on investment, monitor student outcomes, and provide regular analysis and reports to RVP on activities, targets, and improvement.
- Manage budgeting - plan and control budgets for student progression and partner programs, ensuring maximum value from investments.
- Use a hybrid work schedule
You Have:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
- 6+ years experience in the education sector
- Experience managing collaborative relationships at a senior level
- Experience working with a professional body
