Your Mission
- Initiate discussion and participate in negotiation on the terms for the commercial proposal including but not limited to outright land sale or joint venture or other forms of collaboration with potential business partners/investors and put forth the recommendations to the Management.
- Manage discussions pertaining to business agreements with partners or potential partners focusing on industry standards/practices and ensuring that the deal is in accordance with the industry standard and within approved limits by the Management.
- Monitor, coordinate, and report the performance of established business agreements to ensure result deliveries are as per agreed terms.
- Develop a business plan and commercialisation of the Company’s lands.
- Manage the preparation of the Annual Business Plan by engaging with relevant departments, collating necessary information, and updating accordingly for the plan to be in line with the Company’s business strategy.
- Manage business partners and constantly maintain good working relationships so that any issue is tackled and solved in an agreed timeline/period so that the projects/deliverables are delivered on time.
- Lead and manage land-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and timelines, monitoring progress and mitigating risks.
- Coordinate with government agencies, landowners, and internal stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and resolve land-related issues.
- Conduct feasibility studies, land assessments, and due diligence for acquisitions, disposals, or development projects.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, zoning, and land-use policies.
- Supervise a team of project managers and specialists, providing guidance and performance management.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on project status, risks, and recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement in land management processes and project execution.
- Identify land portfolio for potential value creation.
- Evaluate and review Company’s land-related business proposal to determine its viability and potential monetization.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required. Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree in Land Management, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or other related fields are also encouraged to apply.
- The candidate should have experience in township infrastructure development and planning, preferably with a developer.
- A strong understanding of feasibility studies related to township projects is also required.
- Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, RICS, AICP) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Project/Construction management
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in land management, real estate development, or project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale land projects, including acquisitions, leasing, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with government agencies, legal teams, and community stakeholders.
