Objectives of the Position

  • Lead SC Excellence activities and implementation of key strategic projects; acts as PMO for APA SCM for global and regional projects
  • Support APA SCM Head to develop/update and implement/drive the new APA SCM Strategy (to improve transparency, efficiency, effectiveness, and cost competitiveness)
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement, evaluate options (including benefits and costs), make recommendation and drive implementation of agreed projects/initiatives (e.g., for inventory management)
  • Responsible for Performance and Risk Management for APA Operations: Monitor and manage KPIs, establish benchmarks and define / agree on service levels, identify risks and mitigation measures within APA Operations
  • Responsible for Business Application team: Build-up and further develop APA SCE specific knowledge, establish Business Expert network for Supply Chain Planning and supports related business processes and tools (SAP, IBP, APO)
  • Responsible for Stakeholder Management and Communication: Act as a key liaison between SCM, IT, and internal teams, ensuring alignment on objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Responsible to ensure adherence to all regulations, policies and audit standards (e.g., for internal audits)
  • Lead APA SCE Community to drive innovation and best practice/learning sharing, best practice replications, promote continuous improvement mindset
  • Lead Monthly Sub-Regional Business Planning Meetings

Main Tasks

Differentiated Steering (S4Hana Transformation) Leadership:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Differentiated Steering (S4Hana Transformation) Project in Operations, ensuring effective implementation and seamless integration within regional SC processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and other functional teams to drive continuous improvement, system optimization, and process automation through S4Hana.

IPO Readiness for Regional SCM:

  • Lead initiatives to ensure IPO readiness in regional SCM by overseeing the alignment of SC operations with the required financial, regulatory, and operational standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to prepare and implement strategies that support a smooth and successful IPO process while maintaining operational excellence.

Project Leadership in SCM Enhancement:

  • Lead cross-functional projects to enhance SC operations through the integration of AI, digital solutions, and advanced process optimization strategies.
  • Drive initiatives that optimize supply chain processes, gain transparency, and improve operational efficiency through data-driven insights and cutting-edge technologies.

Strategic Alignment & Continuous Improvement:

  • Ensure that all initiatives are aligned with the overall business strategy and drive long-term value for the organization.
  • Collaborate with Regional SCM and senior leadership and teams across functions globally to identify and implement strategic initiatives aimed at improving SC processes, enhancing digital capabilities, and fostering innovation.

Stakeholder Management and Communication:

  • Serve as a key liaison between SCM, IT, and other interfaces within our division, ensuring alignment on goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and collaboration throughout project lifecycles.
  • People Management and Winning Culture:
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams by fostering a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation, and driving a shared vision to achieve high-performance goals as per “Winning Ways” strategy.
  • Develop and mentor team members through regular feedback, coaching, and skill-building opportunities, ensuring both individual growth and alignment with organizational objectives in Regional SCM APA and APA.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies and audit standards.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity and minimize disruptions.



Requirements

  • Masters/Bachelor in SCM, Logistics or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SCM &/or Logistics, Excellence/Transformation/Project Management
  • Strong expertise in S4Hana or similar ERP systems, Experience in IPO processes, solid understanding of AI, digital technologies, and process optimization in the context of SCM, Knowledge of SCM, inventory & production planning process, international trading. SAP / IBP DP & SNP systems. Strong proficiency in MS Office.
  • Project Management Skill. Digital and data analytics proficiency as a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
