Job Description:
Overseeing total Modern Trade which includes International and Regional Key Accounts.
Channel Development & Strategies: Accountable for developing channel growth strategy, define action plans and identify priorities within Channel that deliver target set and achieve sustainable profitable growth. Lead annual budget planning process, sales target setting for accounts and lead team in achieving set goals i.e. Sales value, trade spend, margin and market shares.
Customer Business Development: For each key customers, identify growth opportunities, set strategic actions, closely monitor and course correct performance vs agreed objectives regularly. Lead in proactive negotiation on annual trading terms, annual promotion planning and any strategic collaborations to ensure objectives are aligned to brand & channel strategies.
Build strong customer relationships: Engage customers regularly to build relationships and rapport with decision makers and exclusive selling team.
Stakeholder Management: Work collaboratively with peers in other regions and departments on development/progress of customers within the assigned geography as well as with Sales Operations, Marketing, Customer Marketing, Demand Planners, Supply Chain and Logistic teams to develop & drive perfect store initiatives, execution excellence of campaigns & displays, assortment vs targets by retail environments, demand planning and customer fulfilments.
Strong business acumen: Monitor channel, customer and category/segment performance (a) Market trends & competitive activities to identify insights & opportunities and anticipate potential issues to facilitate next steps/plans. (b) Campaigns & trade execution deliverables including NPD, Perfect Stores, etc.
Drive, Develop, Coach, Engage & Recognize/Reward Team: Identify high potentials for strong succession plan, provide on the job support for Modern trade teams including distributors’ exclusive staff and merchandisers, where applicable. Provide prompt constructive feedback to peers and other departments, and challenge status-quo where necessary.
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor or Master’s Degree
Minimum 10 years experiences in Modern Trade sales preferably in FMCG environment.
Experience in key account management is added advantage.
Must be proficient in MS Office (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint)
Must possess valid driving license, own transport and willing to travel.
Strong drive for result, goal driven and strong customer collaboration skills.
Key capabilities: Strategic thinking, team player, lead effectively within team and cross functional across different levels, excellent communication & Interpersonal skills, Problem Solving & Decision making with prompt follow-through and good analytics skills.
Maintain and healthy balance between administrative & operational requirements including store & follow-up checks.

Self-driven and Act with integrity
Strong Computer & Microsoft Office skills including analytics.
